F is for the futer me!

HI future Brenna, you must be in your 80's by now!

This is what I think the future will look like! I picture tubes everywhere for transportation, and time machines too! For pets I imagine weird dinosaur like things. And for the fashion, well I think its going to be space stuff, girls would wear skirts that looked like they had a hula hoop in the bottom, and there would be metallic colours everywhere!

In the future everyone I hope in still talks English, because when I am older, I wouldn't want to learn a whole other language.

I also wonder what buildings would look like, maybe cool buildings with futuristic architecture, and new creative ways to help save the earth
But I also fear a worse future, maybe there will be no change, but the pollution and will get worse! And there will be a dark sky full of dirty clouds, the sun would be hidden by a gloomy fog, and it would be hot and humid wherever you go. Maybe everything would be broken and dying, there would be no flowers to give your for mom mothers day, and no clean hills to watch fireworks off of. Now that would truly be horrible!

But I don't know the future. Maybe my guesses are completely off, nothing could change at all, it would be exactly the same, nothing would get worse, and nothing would get better, it would all be EXACTLY the same. I guess that that no change would be better than a bad change, but if it continued this way forever, I think I'd go crazy!

I just have to wait to find out, but I'm OK with not knowing!

Life lesson
Live each day as if it was your last, and then maybe you will find out what the future will be like!

P ia for pasta! yuuuummmmyy

As I walk into my house after a long boring day at school , I stop, and I recognize that amazing sent, what is it, yes it is my favorite food in the whole entire universe. My mouth starts to water because I can't wait for dinner. So in the time that I am waiting for dinner to be ready, I am watching TV, then it happens! I hear the call," DINNER!!" and I sprint upstairs to the table almost wiping out completely, but I kept my balance thinking about nothing else but the PASTA!

Seated at the table, now just seconds away from sticking my fork into that scrumptious meal! It seams like it is taking forever, because of course, when I am exited about something it either never happens, or takes forever too happen! so I am not surprised that I am the last person to be served, but I will stay calm.

Finally the moment I've been waiting for! I have a plate, with a bunch of Fettuccine Alfredo, it must be my lucky day, first my favorite food(pasta) then my favorite food, more specific!

I plunged my fork into the food and shove it in my mouth ( but not in a piggish way) and taste that unforgettable taste, and suddenly, what seemed to be a bad day turned into the best day ever, and to top it all off, I had my favorite type of ice cream for dessert!( but that's a whole other blog post)

Life lesson
Enjoy your food, not everyone has it,
and eat it slow or else you will get a cramp!

h is for my horrible airplane ride and day!

It was early in the morning, the sky was dull, and all you could hear is the birds starting to wake up and chirp, when my sister and I were sleeping, until my dad came in and told us to wake up and get ready to go. We slowly opened our sleepy eyes and dragged ourselves out of our beds, and down the stairway. Then we continued drowsily walk to the kitchen and urge our hands to pick up a waffle and put it in the toaster, it was harder then it seems when you went at bed at 1:30 am and had to wake up at 500 am, I mean that is only 5 teeny hours of sleep, followed by a horrible day!

After we left my house we drove along the busy high way, yes it was busy even though it was super ! I was not that long of a drive, just around 20 minutes, I wish it was longer, so i had time to sleep, but that didn't happen.

Now we are at the airport and I am dreading the time that is going to have to come sooner then I want it to, saying bye to my dad. As we get to the baggage drop off, my dad tried to sort some things out with the people and that took at least an hour in an half.

By now we are running very late and on the verge of missing the flight! So we rush to the place that we have to say good bye. So my sisters and i walk with our backs turned to my dad and walk through the gate and the we disappear into the crowd.

By then we were all ready and seated in the plain prepared to leave, when my older sister and I realized that our TVs totally stopped working , so did the mans across the hallway from us and the person in front of the man. When one of the cabin crew was walking through the hall way the man across from us mentioned it and then the lady got the purser( the head of the cabin crew), so then they started counting how many peoples had the same problem as ours, and of course every ones on the upper floor! After that they had to call up the engineer and we had to wait for him to get to the plain. After he got there he discovered that there was a problem with the generator, and that it would only take up to half an hour or one hour to fix, well that was a very wrong prediction!( At this point we are still on the ground in Dubai!)
It turned out that there was a bigger problem with he generator, and they Had to get everyone OFF THE PLANE to fix it!I wasn't pleased to hear this because I had experienced this problem before, not with the generator, but the captains being late, then never getting there on time! we ended up spending the night in a new york airport (one that we weren't familiar with) in hard uncomfortable cots, not knowing anything! it was truly a horrible experience! Any way I was hoping that the same thing didn't happen in this situation!

When we got off the plane we sat in the room that we would have waited in to get on the lane if we weren't late. Then they announce that we would be 4 hours delayed, my mouth swung open and I just wanted to be home and getting something to eat because I was starving! As we sat there for around an hour an a half, we saw people with carts of food, taking them to the lower level, and then my older sister said,"oh no, we are going to be here for a while," and I exactly what she meant! they then told us all to go downstairs and take a seat, then they serve us disgusting cold lemon bread things which I refused to eat, I just took a bottle of water, and waited.
4 hours later we were told to get back on the plane, and then thank goodness our TVs were working , so while we waited to take off we could At least watch the rest of our movies.
Finally we got into the air and we were on our way to Canada, when my sister said," I feel like this flight isn't going to be good," and I agreed.
After they served breakfast off the plane, they immediately served lunch when we got back on the plane, and that was all all good.

Around 10 hours later I started to feel hungry, so I then hear the familiar noise of the big cart that carries all the food and I thought ," oh good there bringing food," so they carried on with the normal procedure, first asking what bread I would like, I picked a croissant, and then after that they are supposed to come back and ask what type of meal I would like, but no, they didn't come and ask what I would like, they just totally forgot to ask me, so with around 3
hours left, I was seriously starved! With like 2 hours left I tried to occupy myself by playing games with Taryn, on the TVs, which helped, but I still felt really hungry! now it was only like 30 minutes left and I was feeling sicker and sicker by the minute, so were all my sisters. Finally we had landed and now we were in the line up waiting to get of the plane, and I felt it coming, yes I did throw up, on a plane, it is kinda gross but I did, and well, that just topped off my entire day!

R is for Rollor coasters!

I absolutely adore roller coasters, even though it might not seem like it at the moment that we are getting ready to go on it, I still love them!

My mom, like all my sisters and I, loved roller coaster when she was younger, so when she had all four of us, she really wanted us to like them to. So that's how it started! Around the time that my older sisters were only babies, my mom and dad was taking them to amusement parks, and then my younger sister and i were born, 5, and 7 years later, nothing changed, we still went to amusement Parks every summer at least 3 times, and when we lived in Dubai, we went to dream land, a water park, with very high slides. So we were very used to the adrenaline.

My favorite roller coaster ever is the Behemoth, I love the giant drops, and the way your stomach feels like it is flying out your throat, it sounds weird, but that is how it is, and I love how on the very first drop, that you can see the people in the front at the bottom of the drop, when your still at the top!

The very first upside down roller coaster I went on was in the Disney world, in Paris, it was indoors, and a lot of fun, I cant remember how old i was,I think around six or less. I was very proud of myself, and couldn't stop talking about it for a long time afterwards.

I still go to Canada's wonder land every summer, and now I even have a seasons pass, last summer I went more than 5 times, and all of those times were a lot of fun, and my older sister,Taryn, probably went more than 10 times.

I am really happy that i like roller coasters because if I didn't then I would be missing out on a great amount of fun

B is for birds

I have had many birds in my life, mostly in Dubai, and they were all budgies.

All the birds we got at first either died because they flew away, got attacked by a cat, or just suddenly died, but we never gave up.

This bad luck continued for a while, until I went outside and I saw poor little green bird hiding underneath a table. I called my mom, she came outside and picked up the little bird with a towel. we then cleaned her and fed her as well. I decided to name her lucky because right after we got her inside there was a bad storm, so she was lucky we found her. My sister Taryn didn't like the name lucky because it was to common, so we started calling her ducky, I don't know why, it just sort of caught on.

We put her in the cage with sunny and Dood, the two birds that had survived for a while, and they were both very accepting. We had to move Sunny out of that cage because he was too in love with ducky that he wasn't letting her get to the food. After that her and Dood had many babies. Enough for exactly everyone in our family, even Buffy. They were so ugly that they were cute.

All the excitement ended when we had to sell every bird because we were moving back to Canada, I was very sad. Luckily Dood and Sunny didn't sell, and they are still alive today.

Y is for Yorki- Poo ( yorkshire terrier/ Toy Poodle)

I have the cutest Little puppy. Her name is Buffy. She is not actually a puppy, Buffy just looks like one because she is a Yorkie-poo, and they don't grow big at all. The tallest they get is up to 10 inches and they weigh under 10 lbs, which is not very big at all.

We got Buffy when she was a new born puppy, it was on my sister, Taryn's, birthday, the 21st of July. We bought Buffy during the time we were visiting Canada for summer, so we had to bring her back to Dubai.

I was out with my grandmother, and i had no clue that we were getting a dog.

When i got back from my grandmother's i saw her sitting on the couch and she came running to me as fast as she could, which was not very fast. I remember when she jumped up onto my legs and i said to my mom, " i don't like her..." but then my mom interrupted me thinking i was finished and she gasped in surprise and said, " you don't like her?!," but i had no time to correct her. About 6 years later i told my mom that i was not finished talking, and that i was trying to say that i don't like it when she jumps up on to me, but i love my dog very much.

Buffy is 6 years old now but she is still as energetic as a puppy. She is a very well behaved dog and is definitely a people person. Buffy is a princess she dislikes it a lot when other dogs disrespect her. Buffy is Perfect in every way for my family and i love her Very much!

B is for Brenna's life (short version)

My name is Brenna. I was born on October 7th 1997 at 2 am in Groves Memorial hospital in Fergus.

When I was 3 months old I met my best friend, Rachel. We met by our Fathers, they both started working for the same airline and became friends, and so did Rachel and I. We are still as close as ever today, and literally know everything about each other.

I was 2 years old when I moved to Dubai, so did Rachel. I first went to school at Jumeriah Primary School. I left that school half way through Junior Kindergarden. After that I started at Dess for my other half of J.K., and I stayed there until I finished grade 1. My last school in Dubai was E.C.P.S, English Collage Primary School, I was there for grade 2 and grade 3. That was my favorite school because I had a lot of fun there.

After 6 and a half years in Dubai. We moved back Canada. I started at a school named S.J.K, in grade 4. I was very shy and not used to, "Canadian schooling," but I met a very kind girl who misunderstood me and thought my name was Brenda, and she thought I said I was from China. Emilie taught me many things, like how to use a water fountain, because surprisingly all the schools I went to in Dubai didn't have any of them. She helped me make friends and she became my best friend in Canada. Emilie and I are best buddies. This school has been the school that i have stayed the longest at, and I am very happy about that.

Now I am still in Canada and I am very happy!

S is for my sisters

I have 3 sisters (not including me), their names are Janine, Taryn, and Josie.

My favorite sister is Janine, she is also the oldest, she is 19, and will be 20 in October. She is my favorite sister because she is kind and caring to me. Everyone calls us 2 peas in a pod. We are also both born in October, and we both have dark hair. She goes to the University of Carleton, it is in Ottawa. She has a lot of fun there and she loves it a lot. I miss her a lot when she is at school because she is so wonderful, and takes me everywhere. One of my most favorite days with her was when I was 7 and she was 14, she took me to the movies with her friends, and it was a lot of fun, she bought me a lot of things, I had a great time, and the movie was good too.

Taryn is the second oldest. She is nothing like Janine, she is more random, crazy, and outgoing. She is likely the one to be found at theme parks and so on. Now that she is old enough to drive, she is 17 turning 18 in July, she has a car, and so she drives us to school, and when she says ,"lets go," she means it, and if you don't come right that minute, you are blamed for making everyone being late. She is also very strict about thing left in her car. Sometimes she has friends in her car, and they always leave garbage behind, so then she blames Josie and I for it and tells us to take it out. I have learned to not say anything like ," that not mine, maybe it might be one of your friends garbage," but no no, she doesn't care about that, Taryn just want to her car clean, and doesn't want to clean it herself. But Taryn is very funny, and she is very fun.

And the youngest is Josie. She is 10 years old and 11 in July. This is ironic as well because I already said that Janine and I have dark hair and the same birth month, well, Taryn and Josie both have brown hair and are both born in July. Josie is the only one out of all of my sisters and me that has blue eyes, the rest of us have brown. Everyone asks ," if she is 10 then why is she in grade 6, well when we lived in Dubai, the schools were British schools, and British schools start kids a year early, so instead of starting J.K. when you are 4, you start when you are 3. She is very annoying, but can also be a lot of fun too. She is also funny, and when she gets laughing she cant stop. I love having her as a little sister most times, but sometimes she can really get on my nerve's, but don't all little siblings, so I have to put up with it; and hopefully sooner than later she will mature and stop stealing thing from my room!

Then there is me! I am actually older than Josie, but I Thought I should write about her first, since it is about my sisters. My name is Brenna, and I am 12 years old turning 13 in October. I have dark brown hair and brown eyes, And i love my sister no matter what!

my alphbography

O is for October

October was the month is was born in . I was born on October 7th 1997. I like the day i was born because it is close to thanksgiving and so it is pretty cool. The only thing i don't like about October is that it is cold, wet, and damp, and i didn't grow up living with the coldness, the wetness, or the dampness, so i am still not used to it, and that is why i really don't like October.

I have a lot of family members that are born in October, and they are all pretty much really close together, except mine. For example, my oldest sisters birthday is the 24th of October, and my Grandmothers is the 25th of October.

October was the 8th month in the early roman calender, and 8 happens to be my favorite number, and it is the 10th month in the calender we use today, and the birthday i remember the most is when i turned 10. When i woke up the morning of my 10th birthday, i was so exited and i was going around saying," i am now a decade old!"

Every month has a ,"birth flower," and Octobers is a Calendula or a cosmos. these flowers mean joy and modesty. A Calendula is a orange peachy colour and a cosmos is bright pink. The only thing i can think of comparing these flowers to personal thing is that pink is my second favorite colour.

Again every month has a ,"birth stone," Octobers is opal. The colours of an opal stone are White, red, pink, violet and blue. I have a little piggy bank that is a pig, that i got when i was a baby, and when i was born people put there blessings into it, and on the back of it, it has the opal rock and it says the meaning of it too.
